We will be starting our Wax Museum writing project after Spring Break as well. A note explaining this project has already gone home. They already chose a famous person to research, and we checked out the biography books in the library this week. They need to read these books over break, and do any additional research they would like. They will then write a report over their person, and present it in a “Wax Museum” which is where they will dress up as their chosen person, and do oral presentations.
Also during Spring Break, I definitely encourage multiplication and division fact practice, because after break we will be doing a challenge where students earn different prizes for passing their timed tests!
Upcoming Dates:
Reading state assessments-March 28th, 29th, and 31st.
March 22- PTC Gambino's Night
Math state assessments- April 25th, 26th, and 28th.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about anything! Have a great Spring Break!
